  1.                          Captain Sheet Score Input
  2.                          =========================
  3.         Captain Sheet score input mode allows  scores to be entered for two
  4.  teams  that  have  played  one  another.  BowlStat automaically calculates
  5.  pinfall totals, points won/lost and individual bowler/team awards.

  11.         To  begin, enter  the names  of the  two different  teams .  If the
  12.  option  "Allow Interdivision  Play" in  "Options/Defaults" (Divisions)  is
  13.  "N", BowlStat will check that both teams are in the same division. If not,
  14.  the names entered will be rejected and must be re-input.
  15.  
  16.         After  BowlStat has  displayed the  score input  panel, select  the
  17.  bowler  that is  to have  string scores  entered. Once  selected, an input
  18.  cursor under column  1 will appear in the panel  and the following will be
  19.  displayed  at  the  bottom  of  the  screen:  (will  vary  depending  upon
  20.  "Options/Defaults" settings)

  26.         As  the  individual  string  scores  are  entered  for each bowler,
  27.  BowlStat  will automatically  calculate  the  bowlers total  series, teams
  28.  total pinfall  (GROSS and NET) and  team points. Also, BowlStat  will move
  29.  the input cursor to the next string column. Once that last string score is
  30.  entered, the menu  cursor will automatically advance to  the next bowler's
  31.  name.

  33.  To indicate:

  35.  o to use  a bowler's average,  press the "Enter"  or "Return" key  with no
  36.    score. BowlStat  will automatically insert the  bowler's current average
  37.    into the input field.

  39.  o to input a modified average for a bowler, enter "avg" or "+" immediately
  40.    after the string score ("115avg" or "115+").
  41.  
  42.  o to record no  score press "-" and the "Return"  or "Enter" key, BowlStat
  43.    move the cursor to the input field.

  45.  o to have  a bowler's score  NOT count towards  the team's total  pinfall,
  46.    enter  "*" after  the score  ("195*").  This  has no  affect on  the the
  47.    bowler's total pinfall.

  49.         ex.  195 + 210* + 189 = 594 bowler total
  50.                               = 384 towards team's total

  52.  o a  "High  No  Mark"  (for  Candle/5  Pin  games),  enter  "HNM"  or  "."
  53.    immediately after the string score ( "98HNM" or "98.").

  227.         If  a mistake  has been  made ,  press the  "A" and  the "Enter" or
  228.  "Return" key to return to the  "Team 1 Name:" prompt. Otherwise, press "P"
  229.  and  the "Enter"  or "Return"  keys to  process the  scores that have been
  230.  entered.  As the  scores are  being proceesed,  BowlStat will  display the
  231.  associated bowler names in the message area at the bottom of the screen.

  234.  NOTES: "Options/Defaluts" contains  numerous settings  that determine the
  235.         operation the the  Captain Sheet score input mode.  Please refer to
  236.         those sections for more information.

  238.         Function key  F7 function is  determined by the  "Options/Defaults"
  239.         setting  of  the  "USER  Field  Type  Actual?" option (USER Defined
  240.         Menu). Please refer to that section for furter information.
